  The answer to your question is to be found in RFC 4314. If you purpose to &lt;br&gt; write a program that transmits IMAP commands, you MUST read the RFCs. &lt;br&gt; If you are still confused after reading RFC 4314, please re-ask your &lt;br&gt; question, with clarification is to what, precisely, you want to do that is &lt;br&gt; not done by the functionality in RFC 4313.

  Hello everyone, &lt;br&gt; one can use the LISTRIGHTS command to list the rights granted to a &lt;br&gt; specific user, e.g. &lt;br&gt; C: a001 LISTRIGHTS ~/Mail/saved smith &lt;br&gt; S: * LISTRIGHTS ~/Mail/saved smith la r swicd &lt;br&gt; S: a001 OK Listrights completed &lt;br&gt; Does IMAP provide any means to list the rights for _all_ identifiers? &lt;br&gt; It&#39;s hard to imagine that you have to right them all down!?

  I had this error message while using Date::Manip directly and not &lt;br&gt; imapsync or any of the other stuff mentioned above. I believe the &lt;br&gt; issue to be a lack of YAML::Syck. Once I installed that module, then &lt;br&gt; everything was fine.

  Then another angle to consider is setting up another IMAP server (linux &lt;br&gt; makes it easy) and pulling the mail into it. I use fetchmail to pull IMAP &lt;br&gt; (and POP) mail from various servers and deliver them locally to a UW-IMAP &lt;br&gt; server. It&#39;s worked great for several years.

  Gmail has an IMAP interface. There are perhaps HUNDREDS of different &lt;br&gt; programs that are capable of using an IMAP mailbox. Pick one that suits &lt;br&gt; your tastes. For plain text Alpine (aka pine) is a very simple and easy &lt;br&gt; solution. For GUI there&#39;s the Mozilla Thunderbird program. Anything that &lt;br&gt; supports IMAP will likely work with Gmail.

  Many apps, like gmail, are too heavy weight for dialup. You can find a &lt;br&gt; lighter weight mail service for dialup.
